New for Looker Studio: App Store Analytics now available

Good news. We’ve just expanded what you get on the Looker Studio plan.

Starting today, App Store Analytics is included, at no extra cost.

This means you can now explore Apple App Store performance data directly in Looker Studio, using the same Easy App Reports connectors you already have.

What’s new

You now get access to App Store Analytics tables, including:

  • Downloads
  • Discovery & Engagement
  • Installations & Deletions
  • Sessions
  • Purchases
  • App Crashes

This gives you a much more complete view of organic performance, user behavior, and monetization coming from the App Store.

Limits

  • The Looker Studio plan includes App Store Analytics for 1 app
  • This is intentional: these datasets are large and designed to be explored deeply

Think of this as a hands-on preview. You can fully explore the data model, metrics, and dashboards, and decide if you want to scale this to more apps later. If you do, upgrading unlocks multiple apps and full App Store Analytics coverage.

What you need to do

To start using App Store Analytics:

  1. Go to Easy App Reports and open your App Store data source
  2. Select which app you want to sync App Store Analytics data for
  3. Refresh your Looker Studio report (you may need to refresh fields)

That’s it. Data will start flowing as usual.

Documentation & schemas

If you want to go deep (and we know many of you do) you can find metric definitions and nuances on our public Data Explorer.

These docs show exactly what each table contains, how metrics are calculated, and how to combine them with other tables and sources..

Want more than one app?

If you like what you see and want App Store Analytics for multiple apps, just reach out or upgrade your plan. This is where the real power kicks in, especially when combining:

  • Organic vs paid performance
  • App Store discovery with revenue
  • Portfolio-level analysis

As always, reply to this email if you have questions or want help setting this up.

Enjoy the new data,
EAR Team
